Weekend visitors

Last weekend, we were surprised when our door chime ring, hubby’s cousins came to visit us. They are here in town for their summer vacation and visiting their relatives is one of their itineraries. They gave us some house decoration which is very beautiful to put on our new flat. We had a good talk and a lunch time with them at the nearby restaurant. We also went for a walk at the park and there, they have reminisced their old days in this town. They used to leave here at our place but due to their father’s work they migrated abroad. We also visited the cemetery at the tomb of their grandparents. We had a great weekend with them and we are looking forward to see them again before they will end their vacation.

Every moment

Yesterday, I spend the day just bumming around. I don’t know what really gotten into me but I just lay in bed, stared at the ceiling, thought of many things, ate a lot and slept for hours. I don’t think I am sick or anything. Maybe I am just tired, tired of the things that have been happening in my life. I guess I just needed to rest to recharge… This morning, I woke up early, I felt OK so I went out for a jog.

Now, I feel better… and realized that every single second in our life is a gift from God. We may not notice how time flies especially when we are too busy with our stuff but if we could really stop and think about it, we can’t do anything when we stop breathing. So, let’s go on thanking God for the many opportunities He gives us in order to live. What ever we are going through we have to enjoy every moment because we do not know if it’s already our last!

My friend treated me with a free lunch last weekend and I was surprised what the celebration was for. She revealed to me that she got already a new job in a steel building company. I am happy for her career move since as a single mom she needs to earn more for her growing son.

She will start working next month and she will have also more free this time compared to her current work. She was a lucky one and I am proud of her. Cheers to you my friend for your achievements and good luck to your life endeavors.
