I woke up early this morning because my boss called telling me that he is in the office and that I needed to go there as soon as possible to check things and to inform my officemates to report to work in the afternoon when everything is restored. He said some burglars attempted to go inside the office but thanks to the wireless security systems, they were not successful. Then they tried to go inside our neighboring offices and there they were spotted and by the security guard who called the police immediately. When the police were there the burglars exchanged shots with the police. In the end, they were all busted by the police. There were some destruction in the offices but nobody was deeply harmed. What a news in the early morning!

When I went to attend mass early this morning and I was surprise to see a commotion at the donation box area. It turned out that after installing a video surveillance equipment last night, the culprit has been caught. For the past few weeks, somebody was stealing the cash donations in the church. It’s just sad and ironic that one of the church’s employees was the one stealing. Really sad!

I was shocked and saddened by the news that my aunt’s place has been attacked by burglars the other night. She was alone at home and didn’t notice anything unusual before going to bed. The following morning, she was surprised to realize that a lot of her appliances were missing. She immediately called up the emergency number and after a while the police came to investigate. She also called us up and we went there rushing. The police suggested that the house should be installed with wireless alarms for security. A lot of houses are now secured with these gadgets. Lives have also been saved because of them. We are very thankful that my aunt was not harmed that night. Later that morning, I asked her if I can live with her for a couple of days since I am on leave because of my post graduate studies. While the alarms are not yet installed, everyone will be at peace thinking that my aunt has company at home. She gladly agreed. So now I am at her house, my new home, comfortably doing my stuff.
