I was reading some old newspaper articles this afternoon when I came across this teen-year old writing about her health condition. She is suffering from frequent asthma attacks lately. With her frequent visit to the hospital to have her breathing medication, she would often see other kids or even younger than her with the same case as her condition. She wonders how these kids got sick. Was it the air? The dust? Pollution is the cause of her asthma. This girl was not born with this disease, but she acquired it because of her environment. Air pollution has never left the city where she was living. She wonders how many kids will still suffer like her because of the environmental unawareness of the people around her. And I can’t help but to agree with her. People have been showing an uncaring attitude towards Mother Earth. Maybe many have been shocked about the news about global warming but still many don’t want to care.

The girl writer in the newspaper article I was reading were having doubts regarding our ancestry, making her think we are aliens, because if we are really from this world, then why are we destroying our own home? She is wondering if those UFO’s from Steven Spielberg movies are true and that if they are, she looks forward to the time the aliens will come back for us to bring us to our real home, and I totally agree!
