Oscar Glamour

I was watching a via satellite Oscar’s late sunday evening. Through the years, the glamour of the event has never faded. The red carpet is like the same as the past years –female celebrities in their most elegant gowns and hair dos while men’s tuxedo shirts shine making them dazzling gentlemen. I find it intriguing though. Do the stars spend a lot of time planning of what they would wear for the academy awards? Or their agent will just call Georgio or Valentino or whoever famous designer a week or so before the awards night and tell them to dress them up? Oh well, I will never know.
