My friend and I had a movie marathon last night. We watched three movies in one sitting! Among them, I like most Nicole Kidman’s movie -Moulin Rouge. I actually like music inspired movies, they are just so fun to watch. The most interesting part was when McGregor’s character –Christian, a writer who is not financially wealthy -is declaring his love for Satine -Kidman’s character and Satine sang about diamonds being girls’ best friend! She said she needed a man who can give her what she wants. LOL! How many women in the world would want to be married to a man with no money? LOL again! In reality, I guess practicality is given more importance over love, that is. Oh well.. But anyway, Satine chose love over money. With the many complications in the story, she ended up dying, leaving her love interest unhappy. It was sad ending but you will agree with the movie when it mentioned about the greatest thing that you can experience, that is to love and be loved in return. :-)
