I have to run for work this morning. Well, my mom asked me to buy something at the grocery before going for work. Unluckily, when I was paying it, the store’s barcode scanner went dead. So, the cashier had to fix it, but she was not successful so she called up the manager and they tried to fix it while I am waiting for them. When I felt they can not fix it that time, I told them I am not buying the item anymore because I was late for work. They could not do anything as well so they just let me go. I really run on my way to the office. I was late but not that late to receive a memo. :-)
